Working Keeps Back Pain Away!
Work can be a major contributor to musculoskeletal problems through excessive loading, poor posture, repetitive movements and other mechanical causes. But recently experts have said that people who suffer from back pain and arthritis should stay in work if they want to recover quickly. People are already familiar with having back pain, or other forms of musculoskeletal disorders. Aside from taking prescription drugs to help ease the pain and keep it away, bed rest is among the common treatments for them.
However, studies have shown that working can help ease the pain. Evidence suggests that people can benefit from going back to work as soon as possible and doctors and employers need to focus on what people can do rather than what they cannot. Although it can also be a cause for aggravating the symptoms of pain, through proper support arrangements, working can be part of the recovery from having experienced back pain.
Doctors suggest having to go through an individual analysis to ensure that a person's work can really contribute to the fast healing and pain relief.
